NIBE Fighter 360P
Before you start
Please note that this guide is specifically for the NIBE Fighter 360P heat pump models featuring an outside temperature and hot water sensor, typically accessed by removing the front panel. If your heat pump is of a different model, find relevant guides for various models on our website. Additionally, make sure there is a power outlet within two meters of the heat pump and that the Flow is installed within range of a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Carefully follow the steps in this guide to set up the Flow correctly.
Turn off the heat pump before installation. For further information about a specific model, refer to the heat pump's installation manual. Be cautious when handling electrical equipment. If you are unsure at any step, please consult a certified electrician.
Open the Flow device by pressing both sides together and pulling up the lid.
Connect cable pairs OUT 1 and OUT 2 to GREEN TERMINALS OUT1: A & B and OUT2: A & B on the Flow circuit board inputs.
Connect the USB adapter cable to the power supply input. Red to + and black to -.
Neatly route the cables behind the heat pump so they are positioned next to the temperature sensor input panel.
Disconnect the power for the heat pump. Then connect the Flow cables to the temperature sensor inputs (NTC Type) on the heat pump.
For NIBE Fighter 360P:
- Connect OUT1 cables to 15 (outside temperature sensor).
- Connect OUT2 cables to 83 (water temperature sensor). IMPORTANT! Do not remove the original temperature sensors!
Insert the USB adapter into a wall socket to power the Flow device. Confirm the power supply by ensuring that the bottom LED indicator flashes blue.
Log in to the Perific app using your user account or installer account, then navigate to Settings → Add New Device. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the Flow device to your Wi-Fi. - While the test is running, adjust the trim pot for OUT 1 on the Flow device until the heat pump reaches 30°C higher than the previously noted outside temperature.
- Verify the function by toggling it off and on in the Perific app, then confirm the heat pump temperature rises and heating shuts off.
If the resistance is set too high or too low, the heat pump may display an error message.
- Check the water temperature on the display.
- Run the installation test in the Perific app and activate the Block Hot Water function (OUT 2).
- While the test is running, adjust the trim pot OUT 2 on the Flow device until the heat pump reaches 30°C higher than the previously noted water temperature.
- Verify the function by toggling it off and on in the Perific app, then confirm the heat pump water temperature rises and water heating shuts off.
If the resistance is set too high or too low, the heat pump may display an error message.
Attach the Velcro strap to the back of the Flow device and position it next to the heat pump.
Installation complete! Control the heat pumps function(s) from the Overview. Activate optiFlow for schedueled or price based heating hours.
